Nestlé emphasizes Romania’s strategic importance by appointing Giuseppe Carella to key positions, strengthening regional development and consumer focus.

Giuseppe Carella has been appointed Country Manager of Nestlé Romania and CEO for the South-East Europe (SEE) region, overseeing operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova, and the Adriatic countries, with headquarters in Bucharest. This dual responsibility reflects Romania’s strategic significance in Nestlé’s regional growth plans.

With over 25 years of international experience, Giuseppe Carella has held leadership roles in Italy, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf Cooperation Council, managing complex operations and implementing sustainable growth strategies. Since 1999, he has managed global brands such as NESQUIK®, FITNESS®, and CHEERIOS®, strengthened organizational resilience in challenging economic and geopolitical contexts, and driven local development and e-commerce in strategic regions.

Silvia Sticlea, who led Nestlé Romania since 2022, will take on a regional role in Europe, focusing on continued strategic growth in the food category. Carella emphasizes that his goal is to develop the organization in SEE while maintaining close connections with communities, consumers, and partners, with a focus on innovation and long-term positive impact.
