MedLife ended the first half of 2026 with pro forma consolidated revenue of RON 1.7 billion, up 10% compared with the same period in 2025. The pro forma EBITDA margin reached 16.4%, improving compared with the previous year, supported in part by the performance recorded in the second quarter.

Clinics, laboratories and the corporate segment drive growth

The strongest revenue growth was recorded in the corporate segment, at 17%, followed by clinics, at 15%, and laboratories, at 13%. The hospital division grew by 8%.

The results were supported by higher volumes and cost-efficiency measures. In the diagnostics area, MedLife expanded its offering with services such as DNA testing, oncogenetics and microbiome analysis.

MedLife accelerates investment in personalized medicine

The company continues to develop its Longevity 100+ program, which aims to bring personalized medicine closer to patients. During the first half of the year, MedLife expanded the program to include low-pass genetic testing and microbiome analysis.

The company says it is the only medical operator in Romania able to fully determine the human microbiome within the country.

MedLife app to integrate new medical data

This autumn, the MedLife app is expected to receive a new interface and expanded functionalities. In an initial stage, the platform will bring together test history, medical record data, family history, biometric information and genetic testing results.

Subsequently, the company intends to integrate data related to imaging investigations, the microbiome, nutrition and psychometric assessments.

At the same time, MedLife is pursuing greater operational efficiency, lower leverage and an improved Net Debt/EBITDA ratio. The group also continues to assess acquisition opportunities in Romania and on international markets.
