PENNY reaches 470 stores in Romania

PENNY is expanding its network in Romania with a new store in Reghin, located at 59 Iernuțeni Street, Mureș County. It is the second PENNY store in the city and brings the retailer’s national network to 470 stores.

The new PENNY store in Reghin

The store has a sales area of 856.17 square meters and provides customers with 90 parking spaces. Five of these are reserved for people with disabilities and families with children.

The store is open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The new location features dedicated areas for fresh products and private-label brands, as well as a range of products suited to everyday shopping. The selection includes ready-to-eat products, semi-prepared foods, and refrigerated and frozen products.

Romanian products and the PENNY Punct strategy

At the new store, PENNY places an emphasis on its 3RO portfolio, which includes products whose main ingredient comes from Romania and which are processed and packaged in the country.

The network expansion is part of the PENNY Punct strategy, built around seven areas: improving the in-store experience, expansion, Romanian products, people, digitalization, sustainability and integrated communication.

With the opening of the Reghin store, PENNY continues its network development plan and strengthens its presence in local communities across Romania.
