Kaufland Romania Reaches 200 Stores

Kaufland Romania has reached 200 stores nationwide and is marking the milestone with the anniversary campaign “200 stores, 200 good neighbors.” The campaign runs from August 5 to November 4, 2026, and includes prizes, surprises, and benefits for customers.

Prizes and Benefits for Customers

For 10 weeks, customers who purchase products worth at least 200 lei in a week, activate the dedicated coupon, and scan their Kaufland Card XTRA can participate in the prize draws.

Each week, prizes include, among others, a Dacia Bigster passenger car, 20 prizes from categories such as household appliances, home products, and entertainment, as well as 200 prizes of 10,000 XTRA points each.

Another component of the campaign gives customers the chance to recover the value of their purchases. Each store will select one winner every week, who will receive a coupon worth the value of their receipt, up to a limit of 500 lei. In total, the mechanism will have 2,600 winners.

Investments in the Local Economy and Expansion Plans

Kaufland is present in all counties of Romania. In the 2025 financial year, the company directed more than 3 billion euros to local suppliers, while its activity directly, indirectly, and through induced effects generates more than 130,000 jobs.

The company’s programs in education, sports, healthy lifestyles, and environmental protection have reached more than 600,000 beneficiaries.

After reaching the milestone of 200 stores, Kaufland is continuing its development plans and aims to reach 250 stores in Romania by 2030.
