dm România closes financial year with more than 2.15 billion lei in revenue and expands network to 167 stores
dm drogerie markt România closed the 2024–2025 financial year with revenues of 2,156,287,756 lei, up 21.77% from the previous year, marking one of the most robust growth rates in the local retail segment . The advance was supported by accelerated expansion, increased customer traffic and significant operational investments.
The retailer added 18 new stores and renovated 8, bringing its national footprint to 167 locations. Investments exceeding 120 million lei were directed toward modernising the headquarters in Timișoara, redesigned as Dialogicum, and improving warehouse efficiency. Employee areas were also upgraded to support a more functional working environment.
Customer traffic remained a major growth driver, with dm stores welcoming on average 12,000 more customers per day than in the previous year. Private labels accounted for over 40% of total sales, while manufacturer brands continue to occupy roughly three-quarters of shelf space. dm also maintained price stability through the “mereuavantajos,-” pricing concept, which ensures at least four months without price increases.
Digital services continued to scale up. The “dm-ul meu” app generated more than 190,000 coupon activations per month, and the dmLIVE shopping format recorded a tenfold increase in audience, with peaks of over 34,000 simultaneous viewers. The 2025 launch of dm babybonus attracted over 46,000 registered families.
“Our goal is to continue expanding and modernising our store network, offering customers a high-quality and relevant shopping experience. This strategic direction remains essential to our long-term vision,” said Cristian Crișan, Administrator of dm România.
The company also advanced sustainability projects based on the climate footprint report developed for all 14 dm markets, prioritising emission reduction and environmentally friendly packaging.
At group level, dm reported revenues of 19.197 billion euros, up 8.2%, and expanded its European network to 4,189 stores.
