Investment fund Resource Partners has acquired 82.5% of ticketing platform iaBilet and 55% of BestMusic Concerts, a promoter with over 3,000 events, marking a strategic entry into Romania’s growing digital entertainment sector. The transaction highlights the fund’s interest in live events and ticketing services.

The investment supports the next phase of development for iaBilet, which processed over 4 million tickets and worked with 3,000+ promoters in 2024, generating EUR 5.8 million in revenue. The growth plan includes expanding digital infrastructure, diversifying services for organizers, and consolidating market leadership.

Co-founders Emil Ionescu and Răzvan Manta retain minority shares and executive roles in both companies. Founded in 2012, iaBilet is Romania’s leading ticketing platform, offering integrated solutions for ticket sales, marketing automation, and real-time analytics. Recently, it launched daBilet.ro – the first secure ticket resale platform in the country.
