The year 2021 began with positive news in the IT field for Romania.
Our country will host, in Bucharest, the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre – the Cyber Centre, the first EU structure to be headquartered in Romania.
This achievement was made possible due to the high level of training among Romanian IT specialists and the fact that this industry has been – and appears to remain (judging by the measures adopted by the authorities) – a strategic sector for Romania.

The Hi-Tech Business Forum, held for the first time, is dedicated to the exchange of ideas and information on how companies can drive positive transformation through digital technologies.
The forum aims to bring together IT experts from both the public and private sectors to showcase examples of digital initiatives, high-impact technologies used in everyday life, and key lessons learned from the previous year.
