
TP-Link Romania has a new General Manager
TP-Link®, global leader in providing network equipment for individual users and the business environment, has appointed Howson Chen as General Manager of TP-Link Romania.
An engineer by profession, Howson Chen graduated from Zhejiang University in China. He first joined the TP-Link team in April 2016 as a Channel Sales Manager in the Polish sales department, and in October 2017 he took over the role of TP-Link Country Manager for the Baltics region. In July 2019, he took over the position of General Manager of TP-Link Networks Hungary.
As General Manager of TP-Link Romania, Howson Chen will be responsible for consolidating and expanding the company’s activity on the local market, bringing his vision to the TP-Link Romania team, which he will implement according to the business characteristics of the region.

I will focus on maintaining and expanding the company’s entire business and on the development of our multiple product categories – from the ranges dedicated to the business segment, TP-Link Omada and VIGI, to the ranges dedicated to the SOHO segment – all of this equally for consumers and our partners. I am convinced that, together with the team in Romania, I will be able to achieve my goal, of maintaining and strengthening our position as the market leader, but also that we will continue to offer our customers more and more efficient equipment and technologies, we will continue to implement more and more reliable business solutions, as we are used to do year after year,” said Howson Chen, General Manager of TP-Link Romania.
