betahaus enters Romanian market and opens a top-central coworking space in Bucharest

betahaus, one of the pioneer coworking brands in Europe with locations in Berlin, Hamburg, Barcelona, and Sofia, announced the opening of its very first location in Romania.

Building further on its strategic partnership with GTC Group, one of the leading real estate investor and developer in CEE and SEE regions, betahaus is launching a fully serviced professional coworking space in the heart of Bucharest, in Piata Victoriei. Situated on two floors with the capacity of over 170 seats within the A-class Premium Plaza building, betahaus Victoriei is providing exclusive terms in 2024 for its first members.

The journey into Bucharest is driven by the success of the two coworking locations in Sofia opened last year. These vibrant spaces, situated in two of the biggest business districts of Sofia and collectively occupying a total area of 3,000 sqm are owned by the GTC Group and operated by betahaus. betahaus Sofia’s clients include some of the most important companies in Bulgaria, namely KBC Global Services, Telefonica Tech, and Solar Edge.

“The latest addition to our global network of coworking spaces is quite a special one. Bucharest has impressed us from the very beginning, and we are really happy to open our first location in this vibrant city. We are thankful to GTC for providing us with the opportunity to enter the market and are looking forward to exploring its potential in the next years ahead,” says Metodi Terziev, CEO betahaus.

“We are honored to host betahaus in Premium Plaza and thus support the expansion of their creative coworking concept in Romania. The opening of betahaus Victoriei marks a new stage in our collaboration, which is based on the success we achieved together in Sofia and our shared vision to develop workspaces that inspire and encourage businesses and professionals from all industries. We are confident that betahaus Victoriei will provide a distinctive and valuable experience to the Bucharest business community, stimulate creativity and teamwork, and quickly transform into a center for talent, performance, and entrepreneurship development, ” said Ziv Gigi, GTC’s Executive Director for SEE Region.

GTC now actively manages a commercial real estate portfolio of 46 commercial buildings providing ca. 753,000 sq m of lettable office and retail space in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, and Bulgaria.
