Elena Bocan, Head of Market Nhood Romania

Nhood Romania, the integrated real estate services company of the Mulliez Family Association (AFM) has made new appointments in key positions: Răzvan Ciobanu – Head of Property Management Retail, Carmen Bădulescu – Head of Asset Management and Cătălina Radu – Head of Leasing. Elena Bocan, Head of Ressources & Fund Investment, is also appointed Head of Market.

Nhood is created around three key business lines in the field of commercial real estate – Property & Asset Services; Resources & Fund Investment; and Development, Planning & Promotion – and four transversal functions – ESG; Data Business; Brand Marketing; Business Development. Each business line is led by an international and local leader.

Elena Bocan, the new Head of Market of Nhood Romania, joined the team in May 2023 as Head of Resources & Fund Investment (R.F.I.), a department that includes the activity of the financial-accounting, IT, legal, human resources, internal control departments, compliance and corporate communication. This new position complements that of R.F.I. Director. and gives her the role of local coordinator and facilitator of the executive committee.

Răzvan Ciobanu joins the team taking the position of Head of Property Management Retail, a strategic function within the Property & Asset Services (P.A.S.) business line. He will be responsible for building a high-performance ecosystem to provide operational services at the highest standard for the managed retail real estate project portfolio, the company says. With extensive experience in the real estate field, in the past he held the position of Property Manager at Bricostore, Technical Manager at Colliers, and Operational Director at Immochan Romania, where he was responsible for a team of 47 people and managed over 160,000 meters square GLA of commercial galleries nationwide. Răzvan Ciobanu is a graduate of the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Bucharest.

Carmen Bădulescu is the new Head of Asset Management of Nhood Romania. She will manage the entire portfolio of assets owned and/or managed by clients, being the guarantor of their permanent improvement and adaptation to the evolution of the industry, defining and implementing new value-creating strategies and projects. She has extensive experience in the banking sector, previously holding the position of Business Center Director within Credit Agricole Bank Romania, where she was responsible for managing clients of medium-sized companies in the Bucharest and Muntenia areas. Carmen Bădulescu has an MBA in Finance from the City University of Seattle Program offered through Intercollege Bucharest.

Cătălina Radu takes on the role of Head of Leasing, being responsible for managing the rental and valorization operations of spaces in Nhood Romania’s client portfolio, through a personalized commercial approach adapted to each project. She will also be responsible for the integration of new business lines such as Tenant Representation, being also a source for new concepts at the local level. She will also deal with the establishment of the Specialty Leasing strategy and the development of new products adaptable to the retail market. Cătălina Radu has a degree in Law and Public Administration, and she started her professional career at Brico Depot Romania in 2010. She joined the Nhood team in 2019 as a Legal Advisor.
