Alexandrion Group appoints Selcuk Senkaya as Group Chief Operating Officer

Alexandrion Group, the largest producer and distributor of spirits and sparkling wines in Romania, appoints Selcuk Senkaya as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). Selcuk Senkaya is a C-level executive, with more than 20 years of experience in the financial and services sector, who was approved by the National Bank of Romania in several Top Management positions.

From this role, Senkaya will oversee the Alexandrion Group’s spirits and wine production, hospitality, and retail operations. His appointment as COO supports the Group’s aggressive global expansion strategy.

Selcuk Senkaya has the experience, drive and stature to fill this role successfully and that is why he joined the Alexandrion Group family,” said Alexandrion Group Founding Chairman, Dr. Nawaf Salameh.

Throughout his career, Selcuk Senkaya has held various executive positions in banking institutions, implementing banking strategies and products.

He is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, and holds an Executive MBA organized by ASEBUSS, in partnership with Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA.

Alexandrion Group is a leader in the production and distribution of spirits and wines in Romania and the only producer of single malt in the country. The group has a history of over 200 years in the local spirits industry, producing some of the strongest developments in Romania, at DISTILLERIES ALEXANDRION SABER 1789.

The product portfolio includes traditional Romanian and international drinks. Starting from 2018, the Group expanded its activity, completing its portfolio with still and sparkling wines.
