Red Point Software Solutions, the only SAP Platinum Partner in Romania, has acquired Ness Technologies Ro, a division of the globally active Ness Digital Engineering. This acquisition is part of Red Point’s strategic plan to implement SAP solutions in the cloud, aiming to strengthen its position in the local market by increasing the number of SAP specialists to support organizations in their digital transformation.

Ness Digital Engineering, of which Ness Technologies Ro was a part, is a global consultancy providing large-scale engineering services. Its talent network includes over 5,000 engineers across 11 innovation centers in the USA, Eastern Europe (including Romania), and India.

With this acquisition, Red Point Software Solutions plans to further develop its relationship with SAP in Romania by diversifying its product portfolio, with a strong focus on cloud solutions. These include SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private Cloud, which are dedicated to optimizing operations through real-time data-driven decisions, improving procurement, enhancing sales and customer service, efficiently tracking production flows and supply chains, and comprehensive financial management. The portfolio also encompasses specific software solutions like SAP SuccessFactors for HR processes and SAP Sales & Service Cloud for customer relationship management, as well as industry-specific solutions like SAP Industry-Specific Solution for Utilities (IS-U).

The acquisition increases the Red Point team by 30 SAP consultants and adds 20 new clients, bringing the number of ongoing projects to 35. “We aim to continue delivering successful projects based on the latest SAP technologies and support our clients with top-notch tools and services. The company holds long-term contracts with key players in this industry, such as E.ON, Delgaz Grid, Enel (acquired by Greek group PPC), CEZ (now EVRYO), and Rompetrol.
