Restart Energy Completes Photovoltaic Project for Fileca Industry Worth Over €300,000

Restart Energy has successfully completed a photovoltaic power plant for Fileca Industry, valued at over €300,000. The new facility, located in Beclean, Bistrița-Năsăud County, is designed to generate significant energy savings while contributing to environmental sustainability.

The project includes 852 photovoltaic panels installed across 3,500 square meters on the roof of Fileca Industry’s building. With a capacity of 396 kWp, the system will produce 430 MWh annually, covering approximately 12% of the company’s energy needs. This will result in energy cost savings of about €90,000 per year and a cumulative reduction of over €2 million over the system’s lifetime.

In addition to financial benefits, the photovoltaic system will help reduce carbon emissions by 135 tons annually, contributing to Fileca Industry’s long-term sustainability goals. Over 25 years, this will amount to over 3,300 tons of CO2 emissions avoided, equivalent to a major environmental impact.

Giacomo Livi, Administrator of Fileca Industry, highlighted the importance of this step toward green energy, emphasizing the environmental and financial advantages of the project. “This project will allow us to save over €2 million in energy costs while avoiding significant CO2 emissions,” he noted.

Restart Energy, led by CEO Armand Domuța, continues to expand its portfolio of renewable energy projects. The company has completed over 150 photovoltaic projects to date, with a total installed capacity exceeding 50 MW, producing 20.54 GWh annually, and avoiding over 13,400 tons of CO2 emissions.

Restart Energy has also outlined an ambitious goal for future growth, with over 1,000 MW of photovoltaic projects currently under development. This project is part of their larger strategy, which includes a partnership with the American fund Interlink Capital Strategies to develop 500 MW of renewable energy projects in Romania by 2025.
