Printmasters is a fast-growing Dutch owned company based in Romania, specialized in decorating, and printing industrial and promotional products. Printmasters is active on the European market since 2008 and provides outstanding quality and unlimited value-added services to customers throughout Europe.

They currently employ over 250 qualified personnel and have over 100 modern printing machines.

Printmasters is a print factory for high end gifts and promotional articles, focusing on a large range of printing techniques for hard and soft goods. With their own lab and testing center they are able to apply decorations and prints on all kinds of surfaces and products.

The head office is situated in Cicarlau, in the North of Romania, close to the Hungarian border, strategically placed to have a fast and easy access throughout Europe and worldwide. The unique combination with the logistic platform attached makes Printmasters one of the most states of the art suppliers in the market with a production and storage space of 11.000 sqm with 18.000 pallet places.

The company can offer a wide range of products and personalization methods: from engraving on metal, pad print on drink ware, digital print on RFID cards, embroidery on back packs, diamond engraving on glass, etc. They primarily support Xindao sales, but they also have long-term relationships with other customers all over the world.

As part of the Xindao N.V. Group, Printmasters is constantly improving, to align to the highest European environmental concepts. Part of the DNA is the continuous improvement of all aspects of the business, but especially the improvement of the IMPACT on the environment. The decoration techniques include screen printing and screen transfer, techniques where they recover the screens for reuse, with a process that consumes water in mix with reclaiming chemical agents. This process of reclaiming the screens is seen in the industry as a must. In this process, they consume more than 1.3 mil L of water/year, all of it disposed of as process wastewater. The chemical complexity of the wastewater and its components makes it virtually impossible (with reasonable cost) to filtrate wastewater to NTPA 001.

In this regard, they have launched the project “IMPACT Zero Water,” which aims to reduce the wastewater process by introducing a new concept: no screen reclaims, accept the financial loss of materials, improve working conditions, reduce environmental impact, and lay the groundwork for the IMPACT on the environment program.

This effort has also got them a nomination for “Excellence in Water Consumption Management” at the Green Report Gala.
