Schneider Electric: Strong H1 2026 results
Schneider Electric reported progress in sustainability in the first half of 2026, six months after launching its Impact 2030 strategy. The company’s impact score reached 3.69 out of 10, compared with the annual target of 4.20 and the 2030 target of 10 out of 10.
Progress in electrification and decarbonization
In the first six months of the year, Schneider Electric reduced its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 82% compared with the 2017 baseline, while Scope 3 emissions fell by 12% compared with 2021.
The company’s solutions enabled customers to save or electrify 129.5 million MWh of energy and contributed to avoiding or reducing more than 50 million tonnes of CO₂ in the first half of the year. Since 2018, the cumulative impact has reached 913 million tonnes of CO₂.
Suppliers and employees as part of the strategy
The Impact 2030 strategy also includes measures targeting the supply chain. The Zero Carbon Pathway program is expanding to cover 1,500 suppliers, while more than 1,000 suppliers used digital tools to manage energy consumption and emissions during the first half of the year.
In terms of professional development, 16% of experienced employees participated in development or knowledge-transfer programs.
Impact on communities
Since 2009, Schneider Electric projects have provided 67 million people with access to sustainable electricity, while 1.37 million young people have benefited from skills-development programs.
In addition, five Schneider Electric sites obtained Impact Workplaces certification in the first half of the year. The program includes criteria covering energy efficiency, decarbonization, the circular economy, biodiversity and impact on local communities.
