
Accor announces its first Handwritten hotel in Bucharest
World-leading hospitality group Accor joined hands with TECADRA HOTELS S.R.L., for the complete conversion and extension of the existing Tecadra Hotel. The existing 4-stars property is undergoing a full makeover of the façade, internal partitioning, and design.
The 100-key Tecadra Bucharest Handwritten Collection will welcome its first guests in September 2025, thus becoming Romania’s first Handwritten Collection project.
The building will be featuring 50 rooms and suites. An additional wing of will be added to the property, bringing 50 new apartments units. In line with Accor’s commitment to decarbonize all its operations and achieve net zero by 2050, the property will be a green building, powered by solar panels and heating pumps, thus reducing carbon emissions and operating costs.
The venue offers dining experiences within its restaurant and bar. Guests can enjoy various amenities such as a conference room, a modern fitness club, a fully-equipped business corner, and secure parking facilities under surveillance.

Positioned on Iancu Nicolae 67 Street, the hotel is right at the heart of one of Bucharest’s most exclusive residential neighbourhoods, surrounded by renowned international schools, fitness and wellness centres, and upscale shopping galleries. Situated in proximity to Bucharest’s largest office district, Pipera North, the hotel enjoys convenient access to both Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport and Bucharest Aurel Vlaicu Băneasa International Airport.
