
SAP Romania Surpasses 1,000 Employees, Strengthens Role as Digital Transformation Leader
SAP Romania, the local subsidiary of global software leader SAP SE, has reached an important milestone by exceeding 1,000 employees. This achievement underscores the company’s sustained growth and its capacity to drive digital transformation initiatives for clients locally and globally. Founded in 2002 with an initial team of five in Bucharest, SAP Romania has expanded its operations significantly over the past two decades. Today, the company operates three offices in Bucharest, Timișoara, and Cluj-Napoca, employing 654, 270, and 124 staff respectively. The workforce has an average age of 35.5, with women representing 46% of the team.
In 2024 alone, SAP Romania grew its workforce by 18%, consolidating its position as a key player in the local technology market and a center of excellence within the SAP global network.
