Verallis Romania Experts use Cost Analysis Model to Optimize Costs & Reduce Operating Expenses

We talked to Mihaela Beceanu about how Verallis entered the Romanian market at the „right time“ and why she sees its services implemented throughout the country in 2022.

Anamaria Diaconescu: Mihaela, thanks for confirming our invitation. Can you start by telling us what the company does and what is your role?

Mihaela Beceanu: I would like to thank Hellenic – Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce for the opportunity to introduce ourselves. Verallis is a Greek company, implementing cost management methodology and providing operational and procurement optimization solutions. We rely on the expertise of 35 Partners with industry-specific knowledge and more than 15 years of market activity. The company was established in 2007 and starting May 2021 expanded its business activity on the Romanian market, offering local customers best in class and tailor-made services of cost management. My mission began 8 months ago as Partner and over this period I moved into a Business Analyst role.

AD: Tell us about Verallis experience – how does your services help Romanian companies?

MB: Verallis’ fundamental focus is to generate value and revenue for Romanian companies, helping organizations to increase their profit margins.

AD: How would you describe the experience of working with Verallis to your customers?

MB: Our approach covers all aspects starting with identification of market opportunities, measuring the impact using spend analysis metrics and ends-up with implementation, as the partners integrate into company operations for periods of 24 or 48 months, to secure that all actions will be implemented and ensure that initially estimated savings are achieved.

AD: What should your customers expect?

MB: We usually start saving money in less than 90 days from project’s initiation. More than 50% of our clients have retained their current suppliers, but at a significantly improved cost.

AD: How much can you save with Verallis Model?

MB: We pride ourselves on honoring commitment to principle “no savings, no fee”. Verallis fees come from the savings achieved in over 50 cost categories. More specifically, we receive up to 50% of the actualized savings over the period of the project, assisting our clients in securing an average savings benefit of 23.7%, with up to 1.9 million Euro/project. Process approaches were crafted in more than 560 projects from over 140 enterprises.

AD: It’s interesting that you mention the projects – what do you think contributed to this success?

MB: The great advantage brought by Verallis Model – and it is really hard to argue with this approach – is that it is based on real implemented projects.

AD: Anything else would you like to add?

MB: This is the beginning of a very good partnership. We have gotten great response from the market and visibility support.
