
The Hellenic-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce welcomes the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Greece in Constanta and congratulates Mr. Theodoros Skandalidis on his appointment as Honorary Consul
The Honorary Consulate of Greece opened in Constanta on 1 November 2022. Mr. Christodoulos Seferis, President of the Hellenic-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce, together with the members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, were honoured to respond to the invitation of Her Excellency, the Ambassador of Greece in Bucharest, Mrs. Sofia Grammata, and Mr. Theodoros Skandalidis, Honorary Consul of Greece in Constanta.
The event was also attended by His Eminence Teodosie, Archbishop of Tomis. On this occasion, the Prefect of Constanta County, Silviu Coșa, said: “The creation of the Honorary Consulate in Constanta is a logical step, which I am sure the inhabitants of the county have long been waiting for. It is proof that bilateral relations are close and can give rise to initiatives, projects and, why not, public policies that can bring great benefits to the local community. We are all happy that the Greeks are part of the great Dobrogea family. We live in harmony, respect and we are together, here, for Constanta”.
The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture (CCINA) Constanta was also present, through its General Director Ruxandra Serescu, at the festive moment that marked the opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Hellenic Republic in Constanta, as well as the investiture of the Greek Honorary Consul in Constanta, Theodoros Skandalidis.
The event was attended, among distinguished personalities, by the President of the Hellenic Community of Constanta, Mr. Anton Traian Antoniadis, the Deputy Mayor of Constanta, Mr. Ionuț Rusu, the Vice President of Constanta County Council, Mr. Stelian Gima, the President of Black Sea Suppliers, Mr. Ioannis Skantzikas and the President of the Hellenic Union in Romania, Mr. Dragoș Gabriel Zisopol.
