Schneider Electric exceeds 2025 sustainability targets, cutting suppliers’ CO₂ emissions by 53%

Schneider Electric reported solid sustainability results for Q3 2025, achieving a score of 8.52 out of 10 in its Schneider Sustainability Impact (SSI) 2021–2025 program. With one quarter remaining, the company is on track to meet its full-year target of 8.80, underlining its global leadership in sustainable energy transition.

A major highlight of the quarter was the early completion of the Zero Carbon project, which achieved a 53% average reduction in CO₂ emissions across key suppliers’ operations, surpassing the 2025 target ahead of schedule. The program supports more than 1,000 suppliers through tailored decarbonization plans, technical training, and renewable energy transition guidance.

Schneider Electric has also helped save and avoid 792 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions through its products and solutions since 2018, closing in on its 2025 goal of 800 million tonnes. At Climate Week NYC 2025, the company announced expanded Scope 3 decarbonization efforts through increased supplier engagement and new industrial collaborations.

Additionally, the company’s AirSeT equipment, which replaces SF₆ gas with pure air and vacuum-based technology, was recognized by the World Economic Forum for sustainable design excellence.

Schneider Electric has exceeded its 2025 goal of providing access to green energy for 60 million people through distributed energy solutions such as microgrids that promote local ownership and inclusive governance.

“Schneider Electric was named the world’s most sustainable company three times this year. These recognitions reflect the collective progress we’re seeing across industries. Organizations are cutting carbon emissions, new technologies are scaling fast, and people are driving change with purpose. Sustainability is becoming the core of how we operate, innovate, and collaborate,” said Esther Finidori, Chief Sustainability Officer at Schneider Electric.
