Proleasing Motors, one of the most important Ford dealers in Romania and Hedin US Motors, the official importer and distributor of Ford F-150 models in Europe, announce the launch of the famous line of American Ford F-150 pickup trucks on the local market. As of Tuesday, all versions are available for sale, namely Limited, Raptor, XLT and Lariat at Ford Proleasing Motors dealerships in Ploiesti, Buzau and Targoviste.

“The authorized distribution of Ford F-150 models in Romania provides a number of significant advantages for enthusiasts of powerful trucks. If until now, the costs related to maintenance and spare parts for this type of vehicles, imported through various channels on the continent, were unknown, starting today, the customers will benefit from support throughout the entire sales-service-warranty process and access to the full range of original spare parts and accessories,” said Lucian Alexe, CEO of Proleasing Motors.

The F-150 is the world’s best-selling pickup truck, mainly due to its success in the United States and Canada. Romania is the third country in Europe to officially distribute this Ford line, after Germany and Sweden, where it was launched last year.

The price for the Ford F-150 starts at €65,500 + VAT, and the financing options currently include two finance lease products dedicated to the new line.

The F-150 Limited meets all comfort and productivity requirements and is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 PowerBoost Hybrid engine, developing 436 hp and 773 Nm of torque, with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The F-150 Raptor is designed and developed by Ford Performance Division to the highest standards of all-terrain quality and performance. Its technical highlights include the FOX Racing Shox shock-absorbing system, 24″ coil springs (the longest in its class) and Live Valve technology, which puts a series of sensors to work that scan the terrain in real time and adapt the driving style to the specifics of the surface.

The Raptor model is available with 7 different driving modes and with appropriate adjustment of steering, torque, transmission and power distribution between axles. The 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine produces 456 hp, maximum torque of 692 Nm and the transmission is provided by the same 10-speed automatic gearbox.

The Ford F-150 Lariat is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 producing 406 hp and 555 Nm with dual fuel injection and can be fueled by either petrol or E85 ethanol. Since its launch 50 years ago, the model has been known for its supreme handling on the toughest surfaces.

The F-150 XLT is a solid all-arounder that has been appreciated for years for its rugged performance and reliability. Versatile and powerful, the XLT is the choice for a variety of environmental and terrain conditions, offering a balanced mix of comfort and performance that makes it the ideal choice for both urban and rough terrain use. It is powered by the same 5-liter V8 with dual injection, developing 406 hp and 555 Nm.
