Investimental, the newest broker on the Romanian capital market, reaches 1,000 retail clients locally.

Investimental’s growth mirrors the broader trend in the Romanian market, as evidenced by the Investor Compensation Fund’s report of a 34% increase in active trading accounts at the Bucharest Stock Exchange in 2023, totalling 178,545 as of the end of December 2023.

The 1,000 retail clients of Investimental collectively manage almost 3,200 trading accounts, investing both in the Romanian and U.S. markets.

According to data from Investimental, the total value of client portfolios in the first seven months since the launch is EUR 10 million. The analysis of the trading volumes highlights an orientation towards the local market, with 63% of trades done on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The remaining 37% is concentrated on the US capital market.

Currently, 44% of Investimental clients have less than one year of investment experience. In the process of expanding the investment strategies of market newcomers, upon launch, Investimental introduced InvestiMentor, a pioneering 12-module educational program designed to lower trading fees for participants, thereby incentivizing learning and development.

Investimental is the first broker authorized by the ASF for stock exchange transactions on the BVB in the last 14 years, offering access to both the local and the American exchange. The project is built and developed by a team of professionals with vast experience in financial services.
