CBRE Romania is expanding its influence in the commercial real estate sector by intensifying its commitment to ESG and sustainability. Through a new strategic partnership with Access4you, CBRE Romania will enhance its efforts to create more inclusive and accessible spaces for people with disabilities. Access4you is a Hungarian company known for its expertise in building accessibility certification across 23 countries.

The collaboration will enable CBRE to integrate accessibility certification into its existing sustainability services. This initiative supports CBRE’s clients by auditing properties and offering recommendations for functional improvements, helping them meet international accessibility standards. With over 850,000 Romanians living with disabilities, this service addresses a pressing need for inclusivity in office and retail environments.

This partnership follows successful initiatives in Hungary and other CEE countries where CBRE operates, reflecting its broader strategy to enhance accessibility across Europe. The program aims to address the challenges faced by the 101 million Europeans living with disabilities, many of which are invisible but significantly impact their daily lives.
