Klass Wagen Enters Mobility Services Market, Appoints Răzvan Vedel to Lead Division

Klass Wagen launches its Mobility Services Division, offering flexible car subscriptions and replacement vehicles, while Răzvan Vedel, former Chief Sales Officer at UniCredit Leasing, takes the role of Chief Mobility Services Officer to oversee the expansion of B2B and B2C offerings.

The new division responds to changing consumer behavior, with a growing preference for flexible car usage over traditional ownership. It offers two main services:

  • Car subscription – all-inclusive monthly plans ranging from €450–€500, depending on vehicle class and duration.
  • Replacement vehicles – for clients affected by accidents, covered through RCA insurance.

“Flexibility has become a key decision factor for customers. Car subscriptions and medium-term mobility services fill the gap between short-term rentals and traditional financing solutions,” explains Norbert Sabou, CEO of Klass Wagen. According to him, the car has gradually lost its status as a social symbol and is now viewed primarily as a functional tool.

To support the division’s growth, Klass Wagen appointed Răzvan Vedel as Chief Mobility Services Officer. Vedel brings over 20 years of experience in banking and leasing, having held leadership roles at UniCredit Leasing and UniCredit Bank. He will lead the expansion of mobility services and grow the customer base in both B2B and B2C segments in Romania and European markets including Hungary, Portugal, and Austria.

“Mobility needs are rapidly transforming. Demand is shifting from ownership to flexible services that match current market realities. I am confident we can build scalable and relevant solutions,” said Vedel.

The division leverages Klass Wagen’s expertise in large-scale fleet management, digital operations, and efficient processes. The launch follows a strong 2025 with €70 million in revenue, with the group targeting €80 million in 2026 through European expansion and investments in digitalization and automation.

Klass Wagen’s operational performance has been recognized internationally, winning Europe’s Leading Independent Car Rental Company 2025 at the World Travel Awards and nominated again in 2026. The launch of the Mobility Division represents a strategic shift: transforming mobility from an owned asset into a service designed for modern flexibility and financial predictability.
