Cloud9, part of Alfa Group’s real estate division, is allocating €3 million to build a modern school inside the Cloud9 Evolution residential complex in northern Bucharest. The new educational facility is scheduled to open in the 2026–2027 school year and will serve both residents of Cloud9’s projects and the wider community.

The school will include 10 classrooms, 4 laboratories, a library, a gym, medical offices, and administrative areas. Additional facilities comprise indoor and outdoor sports fields, an elevator, underground parking for teachers, its own kitchen, and large windows designed to ensure a safe and bright learning environment. The building will have a B+GF+2F structure.

This investment is part of the first phase of Cloud9 Evolution, a €90 million development covering 3.2 hectares. The project will deliver 1,148 apartments, more than 1,200 parking spaces, and integrated facilities such as one hectare of green space, sports and leisure areas, pedestrian walkways, and a commercial zone with a supermarket, bakery, wellness services, and charging stations for electric vehicles. Completion is planned in two stages, by 2026 and 2027.

The decision to integrate a school was influenced by a study carried out by Unlock for Cloud9, which revealed that families seeking premium housing prioritize educational facilities, access to green areas, shopping options, and a sense of community.
