Cargus appoints Răzvan Drăgoi as Chief Sales Officer, strengthening its commercial strategy amid market transformation
Cargus has appointed Răzvan Drăgoi as Chief Sales Officer and member of the company’s board, marking a strategic move for one of Romania’s largest courier companies. With over 20 years of experience in logistics, automation and organisational development — including 16 years in the courier industry — Drăgoi steps into a leadership role at a time when the market continues to be reshaped by the rapid growth of e-commerce.
Throughout his career, he has led complex transformation projects, post-merger integration processes and commercial development initiatives, contributing to the evolution of several major organisations in the logistics and courier sectors. In his new position, Drăgoi will oversee Cargus’ sales strategy, focusing on strengthening business partnerships, improving commercial performance and fostering a sales culture built on innovation, collaboration and sustainable results.
His medium-term priorities include bringing stability and continuity to Cargus’ commercial development, in a context where clients increasingly expect predictability, flexibility and operational efficiency. At the same time, he will work closely with management and operational teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation in an increasingly dynamic logistics and e-commerce landscape.
“I am returning to an industry that shaped me both professionally and personally. Courier services taught me rigour, decision-making speed and the importance of building genuine client relationships. I am coming back with a fresh perspective gained through strategic projects and new business areas, and with the desire to contribute to positive change. Cargus has major potential, and my role will be to strengthen its commercial direction, build strong teams and support a stage where stability, clarity and collaboration matter more than ever,” said Răzvan Drăgoi.
His appointment marks a new step for Cargus during a key moment for the courier market, defined by significant transformation and increasing competitive pressure. The company reaffirms its commitment to remain a reliable partner for clients by delivering fast, flexible services aligned with the evolving needs of the industry.
