 
		Allianz-Țiriac appoints Codruța Furtună as Deputy CEO amid 17% market share milestone
Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări has appointed Codruța Furtună as Deputy CEO, strengthening its executive leadership as the company ranks second in Romania’s insurance market with a share exceeding 17%, according to March 2025 data from the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF).
Currently serving as Head of Sales and Distribution, Codruța Furtună will continue to lead this strategic division, which plays a key role in Allianz-Țiriac’s growth plans and customer base expansion. Her appointment has received ASF approval and is pending registration with the National Trade Register Office.
Furtună joined Allianz-Țiriac in July 2021, overseeing one of the largest proprietary sales networks in the local insurance market, comprising over 2,000 agents and consultants, as well as a significant number of partnerships. Prior to that, she held the position of Country Manager at Allianz Partners for Romania and Moldova, coordinating assistance services and niche insurance products.
The current management team of Allianz-Țiriac includes Virgil Șoncutean (CEO), Adriana Matache and Codruța Furtună (Deputy CEOs), Daniela Covăcescu (Operations Director), and Aurel Badea (Technical Director). Allianz-Țiriac is a joint venture in which the Allianz Group holds 52.16% and Țiriac Holding Limited 44.79%.
