Continuing the tradition of Vienna’s Extraordinary New Year’s Concert, the Teaha Foundation, together with TheBizz and DeBizz Magazine, is pleased to invite you to the 21st edition of the Johann Strauss Festival, featuring an exceptional concert performed by the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of the talented conductor Constantin Grigore. The event will take place on Saturday, January 13, starting at 6:30 PM, on the prestigious stage of the Romanian Athenaeum.

The Festival aims to delight the audience with a vibrant yet nostalgic musical selection drawn from the vast repertoire of the Strauss family and their contemporaries. This 21st edition brings to the fore rarely performed pieces, offering the public a captivating journey into the musical universe of Johann Strauss and other composers of the same era.

The year 2024 marks a double celebration: commemorating 125 years since the passing of Johann Strauss II and celebrating 200 years since the birth of the illustrious composer Anton Bruckner. Through this edition, we seek to highlight not only the famous waltzes but also polkas, quadrilles, and other dances, emphasizing the rich diversity of the musical creations of that era.
